CHAPTER-13

Khushi could never explain what feelings the scene evoked in her she was too overwhelmed to react anything for a while

The way arnav protectively yet tenderly held their daughter and even after being busy he was continuously answering his princess with calm and  was giving her little kisses on her head her hairs was revealing his immense care and love for his baby and she like a very curious baby was continuously asking him some or the other thing  

This scene was what she used to dream off years ago and had again started to dream after her fears ebbing away with arnav's efforts and her family she prayed to her DM to make her dreams come true at least this time she would not be able handle them breaking this time

It was arnav who saw khushi standing at door and looking towards her amaira with a dreamy smile

He could clearly make out what was going on her head and he felt happy of it his promise got strengthen with a vigour he would continue his efforts 

Ar-khushi come on in

Kh-hi

Ama-hi ma do u know I had a great time with arnav uncle today

Amaira said excited but just as she said uncle khushi could see immense pain on arnav's face and why not who could take it that his own daughter calls him uncle instead of dad  she could easily feel the pain as it would have been impossibly unbearable for her if amaira would have ever called her aunty instead of ma

At that moment all khushi could think was of telling amaira about her dad right then and their but she can't do it right then not until she comes clear with her brothers

She went to amaira and kissed her hairs

Kh-you r ready to go home

Ama-yes ma

Kh-ok darling just wait for a few more minutes in my cabin till then I call a car our car has gone to garage today

Arnav took this opportunity for spending some more time with amaira and khushi

Ar-my work is over too why not I drop you both to home and then go to mine

Amaira jumped at that and said yes before khushi could say anything and khushi too would not have been able to say no after all the was going too like a dream arnav loving amaira khushi and arnav going home with little amaira after work and amaira held her and arnav's hand while getting down the chair and the way arnav took amaira in his arms talking to her and listening to her non stop blabbers and responding to them and she holding his file and laptop bag like any wife would do it was not like arnav asked her to take his things she did it herself and the look on her face stopped arnav from saying anything and just like a family they went to home

But just as reality hit her that their home is not one they r not a perfect family she felt pain she felt her heart twisting with pain but she ignored

But the thing she could not ignore was a little fear flame igniting in her heart somewhere coz she knew better than to believe that  her life would ever make her dreams come true without giving her  pain and she was worried of that pain    

Arnav dropped her home and told them to be ready as in morning only anjali nani and everyone at home had invited the mallicks at RM for dinner and he could not be more happy he had his lunch with his princess and he would be able to have his dinner with her too and also his khushi

He happily drove towards RM  unaware that his happiness was short lived 

On way to RM he got a call that one of his meeting which was to be held tomorrow had to be conducted now as the client has to go out of country in emergency and would not return for a long time and the deal was important for the parties to be postponed or cancelled so he went back to AR  for the meeting

Khushi ridhima arman and arjun reached at the door of RM

Amr-angel I m not a fool to not understand that u r not fine there is something that is bothering u and u r not ready to share it with us

Ri-arman why don't u believe her may be she is just tired

Arman was going to say something but ridhima cut her in between and even if u don't wana believe her u gota be quite for a while as we r at someone else's home and your behaviour is not mannered at all arj-exactly all question and answer round at home plz

They got inside RM and everyone greeted them everyone was happy but khushi could read tension on each and every face even mami's if she would not have known them from before she too would have believed this but she knew them better then too believe and the fear that she subsided was creeping  out surfacing her heart  her trance was broken as she saw amaira running from one person to another she liked each and every person of the family and they loved her too

But before she could think about the reason she already got it  just as she saw above she knew why

There standing at the stairs was an angry looking dadi throwing daggers at her,she knew about everything that had happened in past and also that dadi hold grudges against her too and she also knew about what all dadi talked about her and garima in house when she came too know about khushi and who her mother is after khushi left RM through payal

Kh-bhai lets go back home I m not feeling well

All mallicks were surprised and worried by her behaviour she has never done that it was rude to just come at someone's place and not even sit for a minute and go back and khushi never did that and she was absolutely fine just a minute back 

Arm-angel what happened u were fine just a minute back bachha

Kh- u were asking me the reason from the time I came back home I told u know plz take me back home I wana rest I just can't stay here for a minute

Raizada's could understand the reason and didn't wanted to force her to stay and mallicks could not do anything as they have never seen khushi in the state that she was now ridhima had an inkling and that is why she supported khushi and asked arjun and arman to leave she could clear everything with khushi later

Dadi- what happened khushi mujhse ankhen kyun chura rahi ho

Arman turned to dadi and asked what does she meant by that with a hint of anger

Khushi pressed his hand and asked to leave

Dadi-kyun khushi ja kyun rahi ho samna nai kar sakti hamara sach ka ,apne purane gande sach ka aur aaj ke sach ka ki ham phir tumhe apne pote apne parivar ko barbad kar ne se rok lenge ham phir tumhari hamare chotte hamare arnav ki zindagi main anne se rok lenge now arman and arjun knew what it was they held khushi and looked in her eyes

Arj-khushi is arnav your ex husband

And by looking in her eyes they knew the answer was yes they were damn angry at her but right now it was necessary to stop the old lady from talking bullshit but before they could say a word they heard a roar that was of arnav

But before that he went to amaira who was forgotten in all this by everyone but not him no never could he forgot about his daughter she was trembling in fear

She was a very innocent and soft hearted girl and by the ways she had been brought up no one has ever raised their voices at anyone else in front of her she was scared

He went and kneeled down in front of her she was hiding behind anjali's legs arnav hugged her and she hugged and cried on his shoulders

Arnav turned all soft for his princess but his inside was burning in anger in rage towards dadi firstly she was badmouthing khushi and secondly his princess is terrified and is crying because of her

Arnav cupped her cheeks and wiped her tears

Ar-sorry princess for all this but relax baccha I m here na I would stop it all ok till then u go with  aman uncle have your dinner with him and then go home ok till then I stop it all ok bachha and don't cry

Amaira silently nodded and arnav kissed her cheeks

Aman who was at the door till now came with arnav to take a file from RM now came inside and took a still terrified amaira in his arms he was passing by arman and arjun who calmed themselves seeing their princess

Arman kissed her forehead and she instantly lunged towards him and hid her face in his crook but arman talked to her calmed her and gave her to aman and asked her to leave her at mallick mansion and her naany maria would make her eat dinner be with him

Aman looked at asr and he nodded and then arman and arjun's angry gaze turned towards arnav as all that khushi went through in her past came to their minds but arnav had better things to do that time

Ar-don't ever dare say a word against khushi

He said to dadi and everyone could see THE ASR' again after years the fierce lion again

Dadi- you know everything about her and her mother and still you don't have a problem with her arnav she is the one because of whom you lost your mother I  lost my son

Ar-what ever happened khushi was not at mistake any where and I m repeating for the last time not a word against khushi

Dadi- I thought u r not finding her because I told u about her   and her mother

Ar-I have been finding her from the time she left and I don't want you to ruin my or khushi's life anymore with your ad thoughts  or words

Dadi- you r insulting me again and again for a home wrecker like her did you forgot what her mother did to you your mother did you forgot what she did to your sister

Ar-main maryada main reh kar apko samjha raha hun mujhe woh bhulne par majbur mat kariye ye akhri bar tha aab apne kuch kaha to main bhul jaunga ki aap ek buzurg aurat hain

Dadi-I won't tolerate your behaviour anymore arnav you have gone mad after her she has taken you completely in her spell

This time before anyone arnav arman replied

Arm-what the hell do u mean by all this it was your grand son this ASR at mistake not my sister he was the one who ruined her life he was the one who forcefully married her it was your son in law who was a leech who had bad eye on my sister he was the one who lied all about khushi andyour good for nothing grand son believed him without asking khushi for once he was the who did not believed khushi even after she put her life in danger to save his he was the one who used her insulted her humiliated her and you r saying she was the one at mistake ,would you say the same if it was your grand daughter in khushi's place

Dadi-hey u how dare u say such thing about my anjali she is not a low life like your sister she is from a well to do family not like your sister who had no family and the one she had,it had peapole with great background

Dadi commented sarcastic and continued  and what will you understand I have heard about you all from this family and I know you all r orphans like her and what people with no family or class will understand what I m saying or what I mean everybody in the room flinched with dadi such rude insensitive remark

 and it was pin drop silence before a sound of slap resounded in whole of RM and dadi lifted her face up again after a minute with hand on her right cheek which was still burning with effect of slap and had hand imprints of khushi on them and looked in the eyes of a very furious khushi

yes it was right khushi had slapped dadi hard on her cheek

[NOTE:I know people some of u  will find it against the ethics and manners  but I wana show when someone insult your family like that you can't think of right and wrong no one is saint on earth that they won't ever do a mistake in life in rage and anger we have always seen in serials that love give the strength to fight and bear all bad it is not wrong but it has other side too it can make a person do wrong to love for family could make you go mad in anger and keeping your self in khushi's place think would you think about right or wrong when someone would bad mouh or say something as bad as dadi said about someone you love ]

That was the time the raizada's truly saw who khushi malick was

Kh-this was for insulting my family who the hell r u to judge people and give your wordicts about them  I could see none in your royal family have a mind to take correct decisions nor you nor your son and when now your grand son is using his mind you wana pull him back

Dadi was to say something when khushi cut her in between

Kh-u have said enough and I have listened enough now it's my time to say and your to listen it is time for reality check subhadra malick

Yes I m an orphan my brothers my bhabi we r orphans but still a loving family who lives together and can die for each other not like your good well to do family who kill each other for money what is their in your family that you u r so proud of your first son who could not be faithful to his wife even after  having two kids with her garima gupta was not at fault she never knew your son was married and even if she knew you put all blame on her there is a possibility that she did not knew of your son being married but is there a possibility that your son did not knew that he was married and father of two kids no but you never blamed him if died it was because he was bad person a coward who could not take the responsibility of his mistake who can't stand the world and people after the truth of his betrayal was out he was coward who left the girl he loved ruined her life by hiding the truth that he was married and loving her

He ruined the life of his wife by being disloyal to his wife by having an extra marital affair he was coward do go die when his daughter was all ready to get married he was coward to leave his kids in this cruel world to face difficulties and chose the easy way out of everything he chose to die so it was your son's mistake not any one elses he is the reason for ruining so many people

But he was like you ,you ra coward too you left your family your house when it needed a elder to handle everything you ran away saving yourself when your broken grand son needed you when a small boy was crying for his mother you could have been that for him but no you chose to ran away when your grand daughter for whom you r so concerned now was crying that time can imagine what she would have gone through  when her marriage broke on the day od wedding when she got to know of her father's betrayal to her mother and also to her and her brother she needed you but you ran if you would have been there they both would not have faced what they did

Your second son a greeady bas****ed who threw his niece and nephew  at the first opportunity he got and took over the business that was built by you husband and his elders he did not have the humanity to take care of his brothers kids he should have taken care of them he should have given them care love security but what he did he threw them away

These r the things you taught to your kids this is all that you and your sons have done wrong and ruined

It is you and your sons who ruined garima guptas life who ruined your daughter in laws life forced her to die your and your sons ruined life two small kids but still look around and see you still get respect from those two kids you still get respect from the mother whose life you and your son ruined you still get the respect from the brother and sister in law whose sister and sister in laws life you and your bas****d  sons ruined you know why because this family and it's people have manners and values

And you talking about my family you with your small thinking could never even imagine to come close to them they r the people who built themselves fighting  everything every bad that this cruel world threw at them they have got money fame respect in this world by their  doings by their hard work and good deeds they know to love and respect people who r not related to them blood where your family could not love people from your own family

Now tell me subhadra malick m I wrong some where dadi kept looking at khushi but she saw ashamed to stand in front of any one who was present in this room al khushi words were playing like a stuck record in her brain she was going to her room when khushi repeated dadi's words to her

Kh-kahan ja rahi hain dadi mujhse  ankeh chura kar sach se bhag rahi hain ki maine aaj apko aina dikha diya ki maine aaj apko sach bata diya

Dadi turned towards khushi with moist eyes but it did not had effect on khushi

Kh-remember today's time before you plan to talk or say anything to or about me or my family saying this she went out of rm no one except arnav arman arjun ridhima saw the pain and tears in khushi's eyes she felt immense pain that today her brothers and ridhima r insulted because of her she was even afraid that because of her hiding the truth  her relation and also ridhimas relation is at stake she prayed to DM to not break her family

And in RM everyone silently went to their rooms but everyone was thinking about khushi only

Arnav was all worried and fear of again losing khushi was taking his life away  he was restless
